We seek a leader who will strengthen our cultural fluency and help the organization build the necessary capabilities to end hunger in Minnesota.
Internally we call this role our Director of Equity, Growth and Belonging.
We are looking for a strategic leader who will work closely with the People team and with leaders across the organization to build and strengthen the skillsets necessary to do our mission-driven work and drive progress on our DEI metrics.
Work Schedule:
Hybrid, Full-Time, 40 hours / week.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Coach team leaders to develop strategies to address the capability gaps in their teams, with an emphasis on cultural fluency and equity.
Design, develop, and facilitate development sessions for the organization and teams.
Partner closely with our strategy team, community outreach team, and other key stakeholders to understand and help us address community needs.
Consult and facilitate teams to design and implement solutions to community feedback.
Provide thought leadership and partnership with HR and leaders to infuse DEI practices into every aspect of the employee experience.
Align and partner with senior leaders on our capabilities work, helping to identify content, activities, and measures.
Build and strengthen opportunities for employee voices to be a part of DEI work and capability development.
Bring best practices in developing professional development opportunities for employees aimed at upskilling employees to deliver our mission to end hunger together.
Build and implement a robust learning infrastructure for employees.
Facilitate training sessions on leadership topics for the organization and teams.
Partner closely with HR team to support listening sessions, workshops, etc.
based on organizational priorities.
Provide?clear?direction,?goals, expectations, performance feedback and coaching to the EBG team.
? Lead and supervise DEI Program Manager and office management team including Office Manager, Office Coordinator and Receptionist.
Must Have:
A combination of education and experience generally attained through a bachelor's degree and 8
years of experience in diversity, equity and inclusion leadership and organizational development, coaching, and/or training leadership.
Experience developing, implementing, and facilitating successful diversity strategies and programs to all levels of employees throughout the organization.
Demonstrated exceptional coaching and/or facilitation skills to create an inclusive environment where everyone is welcomed, valued, and everyone can be their best.
Ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, and enthusiasm, both individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with professionalism, personal integrity and dependability.
Demonstrated strategic thought leader with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and unique concepts.
In-depth expertise in various identities and DEI topics such as racial and gender identities, LGBTQ+, disability inclusion, neurodivergence, mental health topics, among others.
Expertise on these topics intersecting with food insecurity is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate through excellent written and verbal communications.
Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building skills in a collaborative and influential manner that establishes trust and inspires others.
Demonstrated ability to assess needs, collaborate and deliver practical solutions with excellent follow-through that drives results.
Demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Office, Office 365 and the ability to learn other computer software programs.
Nice to Have:
Ability to speak a second language and experience working with racially diverse communities is a bonus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
