Responsibilities
UTC Aerospace Systems is currently hiring manufacturing Assembler to work at our Burnsville, MN facility. The Assembler is responsible for working in a manufacturing environment which will require the ability to set-up and operate various types of manufacturing equipment, fixtures, hand tools, and electronic soldering to assist in the assembly of airdata computers. Some of the processes include the application of adhesives, bonding test, Insulation resistance test, pneumatic leak test, and will require the individual to wear the appropriate (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment. The position will require the ability to read and follow detailed written manufacturing and design work instructions.
Qualifications
All applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and one to two years in manufacturing environment which includes the use of automated manufacturing equipment, electronic soldering, and hand tools. -1 to 2
years of experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
-Basic computer skills
-Ability to operate hand tools, electronic soldering, and electrical/pneumatics test equipment.
-Experience in reading/interpreting blueprints and written assembly work instructions.
-1st Shift - 6:30AM - 3:00PM M-F
Minimum qualifications
Years of Experience - 1 to 2
years of experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.

Skills - Basic computer skills. Ability to operate hand tools, electronic soldering, and electrical/pneumatics test equipment. Experience in reading/interpreting blueprints and written assembly work instructions.
